Lesson #1 – Training Tools & MaxxTraxx Practice Version

The first lesson in the MaxxTraxx Training Curriculum is about how to obtain a demo/practice version of MaxxTraxx and learn about the training tools available.  The Getting Started Guide (GSG) is an essential tool to undertake the MaxxTraxx evaluation, training, and implementation process.  The GSG details hardware requirements, pricing, training options, and more.  The GSG includes Lesson Tasks which serves as a road-map to obtain a demo/practice version of the MaxxTraxx software for evaluation and training purposes before you “Go Live” and use MaxxTraxx to run your business. 

Most MaxxTraxx users get a demo/practice version of MaxxTraxx loaded on their computers to explore firsthand the many features in MaxxTraxx before they decide to use MaxxTraxx to run their business.  This demo/practice version of MaxxTraxx also serves as a great tool to learn MaxxTraxx in conjunction with the user manual, training videos, archived Webinars and live Webinars where users can ask questions about a feature, how it is used, and learn best practices.

For MaxxTraxx Corporate prospects/users, a Scott Systems Trainer will conduct a one-on-one telephone meeting with you to understand your current shop workflow, accounting practices, and discuss with you a strategy to implement MaxxTraxx in your business.  The trainer will suggest training tools and services available for you to implement MaxxTraxx for managing all your accounting.

Lesson Tasks:

1)   Watch the Self-Paced Training Curriculum Introduction Video and MaxxTraxx Training Tools Review Video

2)   Download the Getting Started Guide (GSG) and User Manual from the Manuals section under Training

3)   Fill out and fax in the MaxxTraxx 30-Day Trial/Practice Version Order Form in the GSG

4)   Coordinate an appointment for your MaxxTraxx installation with the Sales department at ext. 107

5)   Schedule a Strategy Call with our Training department (for MaxxTraxx Corporate users) at ext. 106
