New Feature - Added timer when waiting for an credit card swipe that waits 100 seconds before enabling the cancel button to allow the user to cancel the transaction. This only effects the users ability to cancel the form in Maxxtraxx. If they cancel from the terminal MaxxTraxx will see that and close the window when the response is sent back to us. If the user cancels the Credit Card transaction waiting for the swipe window, MaxxTraxx now checks for a pending transaction to see if it was completed. Added a check for a pending credit card transaction every time the user attempts to process a credit card. If an approved transaction exists and the info is returned to MaxxTraxx, the transaction is completed and added to the payment method list on the form. New Feature - Added check boxes to RO setup to allow only printing disclaimer and revision signatures when the RO first signed (RO/PI setup on the same tab as the disclaimer text). For example, if this checkbox is on and the customer signs the disclaimer, the printed copy shows the disclaimer signature. When they later sign for the paid RO/PI, the disclaimer signature will not print on that copy. If this checkbox is off, both copies would show the disclaimer signature.

7.981.368.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Changed the VIN lookup to account for when Carfax does not return ACES data in their xml. If they return OEM vehicle information without ACES data, the year and make are used to pre-select the items in the MaxxTraxx ACES vehicle lookup lists. If there is only one vehicle match returned, MaxxTraxx also attempts to use the model.

New Feature - Added ability to attach documents to part invoices.

7.981.368.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added ability to sign separately for the disclaimer, revisions and invoice payment/accept signatures on an invoice. There are 3 check boxes on the copies to print window that allow you to accept the signatures if they are needed. If the signature has already been done, a date of the signature will be shown. If the signature is not needed, a message shows to tell you why (no revisions, invoice not paid, etc.).

7.981.368.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Fixed bug when posting a vendor invoice with a part on it that has no cost that was only writing a disbursement to the payables side and not the one to the inventory side. It now writes both with a zero amount which shows properly in MaxxTraxx and exports properly to QuickBooks.

7.981.368.0 | Accounting

New Feature - Changed the QuickBooks export to exclude transactions for export if it does not have a disbursement attached to it. If an RO that does not have anything on it is paid, it will have no disbursements in MaxxTraxx. If those items are exported to QB they will not have an account number which causes an error in the QB import.

7.980.364.0 | Accounting

New Feature - Changed Nexpart catalog to allow ordering while parts are being looked up from the RO. MaxxTraxx is not aware of the order when the user orders this way, but this allows shops who do not use inventory to order parts from the catalog.

New Feature - Updated the customer browse list to use tabs for the different ways you can search for a customer, use incremental locators with optional wildcard character. Updated the year, make, model and color search tab to use fields on the form instead of popping up a separate form.

7.970.364.0 | Accounts Receivable

Changed - Allowed editing of the name of the Standard Warranty box on the RO and Increased Standard Warranty text to allow for up to 1000 characters if the Estimate Disclaimer is not being printed on the bottom of the RO. When printing the Estimate Disclaimer at the top of the RO, the Standard Warranty Box is increased to show the extra text. If they click the box in RO Disclaimer Setups to print the Estimate Disclaimer on the bottom of the RO then they are still limited to showing approximately 300 characters and will have to adjust the Standard Warranty text in RO setup to work properly. A warning is shown on the RO setup form about the 300 character limit if they choose to print the disclaimer at the bottom. This is especially handy for Transmission shops to use the Standard Warranty box at the bottom of the RO to display their Transmission Teardown disclaimer that is required in many states. There are many other uses as well for notes or disclaimers of any type.

7.969.363.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Option to turn off the "Please order this ASAP" message sent with NAPA orders that have parts not in stock at the NAPA store. This message is meant to tell the NAPA store to order the part ASAP for the customer, but some NAPA stores interpret this as sending the item to the customer by express. We now have an option to prevent it from being sent if needed. Put the following in the mxtrxpro.ini file: [NAPA] NoASAPMessage=1

7.969.363.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - When voiding a Parts Order to a vendor and parts on that order were on a RO at one time, but are no longer on an RO, MaxxTraxx now accurately chooses to not warn you about those parts that are no longer needing to be ordered. This was a problem because users would put parts on an RO which MaxxTraxx would then auto-generate a Vendor Parts Order for those parts. Then the user would delete the parts from the RO but they would still be on the Vendor Parts Order. If you then voided the Vendor Parts Order, MaxxTraxx would complain that you still needed to order those parts. This was a timing bug depending on which the user deleted first. The parts on the RO or the parts on the Vendor Parts Order.

7.969.363.0 | Inventory

Changed - When choosing "Source" on the Appointment or RO after the RO has been started, the Source could change the amount of Discount that had previously been assigned to the RO by the Service Writer "IF" the Source also had a Discount associated with it. Now MaxxTraxx recognizes previous discounts and warns the Service Writer about the conflicting discounts and gives an opportunity to choose which discount they want to use.

7.969.363.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - MaxxTraxx now tries to start MS SQL Server if it's not running. Often MS SQL Server has been shut down by either a Microsoft Update or an Anti-Virus Update that has run overnight. When this happens, MaxxTraxx can't be started because the underlying Database functionality that MaxxTraxx uses has been turned off. In the past this would show an "unable to access database" error or something similar. Now, MaxxTraxx will attempt to start MS SQL Server for you without intervention by our support department and save you having to make a call to us. This might take a minute or more, so please be patient. If you are trying to start MaxxTraxx from a workstation instead of the server and this error comes up, MaxxTraxx will instruct you to go to the server and start MaxxTraxx from there. In most cases this will fix the problem caused by the Microsoft or Anti-Virus update.

7.967.360.0 | Utilities

Changed - When MaxxTraxx is run from the server, it now automatically starts the data backup in the background if the backup is not current (within the last 24 hours). The Login Screen shows the failure like before, and a message saying the backup has been started. If MaxxTraxx is run from a workstation, users are shown a message on the Login Screen if there has been a Backup Failure the day before and a message that they should go to the server and run MaxxTraxx to begin the backup process. There should be almost no opportunity for a MaxxTraxx user to not have current backups.

7.967.360.0 | Utilities

New Feature - Using the Backup button in MaxxTraxx now calls "mtxruntasks.exe" and runs all the tasks in the background. Users can continue to use MaxxTraxx while the backup and other tasks run. Before the Backup button only ran the backup routine.

7.967.360.0 | Utilities

New Feature - Created single program "mtxruntasks.exe" to start all tasks that normally run from the MaxxTraxx scheduler (mtxruntasks.exe). (data backup, marketing export, carfax export, aces update and checking for patch updates). This program can be called from the Windows scheduler on OS damaged systems where the MaxxTraxx scheduler will not run. By default the program will start the data backup without showing progress. You can use the command line of "showprogress=1" in the "mxtrxpro.ini" file to show the backup progress window, all other tasks always run in the background without a progress window.

7.967.360.0 | Utilities

New Feature - Redesigned, upgraded and renamed Checklists to Digital Visual Inspections. This is a feature that MaxxTraxx has always had but had not been updated to present day standards. We have expanded notes on each item, colorization of passed and failed items, enabled emailing of DVI's to the customer and/or include them with the printout of the RO. There also is a new functionality that tracks failed inspection items and alerts the Service Writer on the Schedule screen after the technician submits the DVI to MaxxTraxx. The Service Writer now has the ability to print the DVI or just the Failed DVI items for the customer to see. The new DVI works on all Microsoft computers, laptops and tablets. It will also work on all MaxxTraxx Anywhere workstations or tablets. A coming feature will be the ability to add labors, parts and notes directly to the RO by the Technician and give the ability to take photos and add them to the DVI. Currently, all photos are limited to being added to the RO by the Technician with the use of the MaxxTech Android app. In the future, MaxxTech will be integrated into the DVI module.

Bug Fixed - Bug that would allow you to change the status on the schedule if another workstation paid it by going through the cash drawer. This would cause a paid RO to have a different status and it could show back up on the schedule, and show the wrong status in the search RO list.

7.965.359.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Added Cricket Wireless - sms.mycricket.com and Google Fi - msg.fi.google.com to the CellPhoneProvider table. The script will only add them if they are not already in the table (may have already been added manually to a few shops).

7.964.358.0 | Utilities

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug when parts merged, the absorbed part had used cores in stock, but the merge failed to bring those over to the surviving part, so part shows no core stock, but the core valuation report does find and show them.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug when printing payroll checks the "Paid Time Off" discount with the Used and Available hours does always print the sick and vacation time under it.

7.964.358.0 | Payroll

New Feature - Changed and Improved Digital Inspection functions as shown below. *Added column to the schedule that shows a count of the failed inspections for the RO (from the checklist). * Added button to the appointment tab of the schedule to view and print a list of failed inspections. The window also contains the phone numbers for the customer so the service writer can call for approval to fix the failed items. * Added ability to mark an item "Approved For Repair" and "Repaired" on the failed inspection list. If the item is marked as repaired it changes color to green. * Added settings to the checklist setup to mark which of the options should show on the failed inspection list. * Added setup on the checklist template to set the color the item will appear if it shows on a failed inspection list (black, yellow or red). * Increased the checklist Option 3 description text on the checklist from 10 to 20 characters so it matches the characters available for Option 2.

7.964.358.0 | Utilities

Changed - Changed Carfax re-export under RO setup so it includes vehicles that do not have a license. The nightly Carfax export was changed to do this a while back, so the re-export now matches what the nightly export does.

7.964.358.0 | Utilities

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug in Miscellaneous Charges from the Repair order that was allowing you to manually enter a misc. charge dollar amount that was over the maximum allowed in RO setup. Also fixed display issue on same area.

7.964.358.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added "Other" choice in credit card setup to allow processors other than 1st Mile and 360Payments to integrate with MaxxTraxx. MaxxTraxx now has the ability to integrate with almost any credit card payment processor. This option is for those customers who do not want to use one of our preferred vendors and want to use the payment processor of their choice. Choosing the "Other" option will not automatically do anything. The customer and the other payment processor must call MaxxTraxx support to determine if they will be compatible.

7.964.358.0 | Utilities

New Feature - Added ability to change the quantity to order on the "Parts on Order" list through a right-click menu choice. The quantity can only be lowered, you can not order more than is on the RO or PI the item came from. If a part has unassigned items on order, it is not automatically tagged to be ordered on the parts to order window. You have to manually tag it.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

New Feature - Added a window that can be called from the right-click menu on the "Parts to Order" form to show the unassigned items on a PO, unassigned items on vendor invoices, and items of the same part on open RO's and Parts Invoices that have not been ordered yet.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

Changed - Changed the quantity that shows on the "Parts to Order" form so it always shows what is short sold on the RO or PI. It no longer tries to reduce the quantity by any unassigned parts on order.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug in the code that checks from the RO for a quantity to order that would count an item twice if the item was put on a PO and then received on a vendor invoice if the PO and vendor invoice were both still open.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

Changed - Changed the automatic backup procedure to now remove .bak files from the backup folder before doing the current backup and after the backup is done. We are only keeping the zip files on the local computers now. The backup log will show if any files are found to remove and how many it removes, and logs any errors during the removal. This was done because some people with limited space on the hard drive where experiencing problems.

7.964.358.0 | Utilities

New Feature - Added "Mitchell Heavy Duty" catalog. To use the new catalog, create a vendor and select "Mitchell Heavy Duty" as the catalog. The user name and password for the HD catalog are different than the regular Mitchell consumer vehicle catalog added earlier. NOTE: Mitchell only has labors for heavy duty, not parts. Also, Mitchell does not have a VIN decoder for commercial vehicles, they only use year, make and model (not engine). The descriptions they use do not always match ACES either. If the year/make/model in the MaxxTraxx record does not match, the user will be shown a window of Mitchell vehicles to choose from. Once they choose the vehicle and bring an item back to the RO, it is stored inside the vehicle record so they don't have to select the vehicle again.

7.964.358.0 | Catalog

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug on the printed RO that would cause it to overwrite the text with the totals area if the report was over 1 page. Settings on the report to keep sections together with their headers would cause the report engine to move an entire recommended section to the second page instead of filling the bottom of the first page with whatever it could. This threw off the line count calculation that determines if there is enough space to print the totals area on the bottom of the page since it would think that only a portion of that text was on the second page.

7.964.358.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Changed QuickBooks export to accommodate restrictions by Intuit in the QB 2019 version.

7.964.358.0 | Accounting

The menu will show all vendors that the part is attached to (vendors page on the part record). Also added "Order Parts" button to the RO that shows the list of parts that need to be ordered for the RO. If there are parts to order, the number of parts to order shows beside the button text. If there are no parts to be ordered, the button is disabled.

7.964.358.0 | Inventory

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug that would not allow you to void or delete a payroll check that was created in a previous year. Also fixed problem that would prevent deleting a payroll check if it was previously voided.

7.964.358.0 | Payroll

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug in the catalog area that could cause NAPA and other catalogs to send back a part not found error if the vendor part number did not match the part number in the master part record. The part number sent with the Parts Order was from the master part record and should have been the vendor's part number. The effected catalogs were NAPA, ATD, Carquest, DST, and IAP

7.964.358.0 | Catalog

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug that was not adding the condition correctly for tires coming from ATD. This caused the tire to show a condition of 'Part' instead of 'New' on the printed RO.

7.964.358.0 | Catalog

Changed - Increased characters allowed in labor and labor sold forms on Repair Orders and Parts Invoices to be as large as 10,000 characters.

7.91.353.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Increased price column and invoice total areas to handle larger amounts. Going over 999,999 will drop one or more commas from the formatted number to fit the numbers. This was necessary for countries with currencies that are highly inflated and it was common to see items selling for hundreds of thousands of the currency for standard items.

7.91.353.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug when transferring funds between accounts that was not including cents when comparing the amount of the transfer to the amount available in the account. This would prevent you from transferring all the money from one account to another if the account had a fractional dollar amount.

7.91.353.0 | Banking

New Feature - If the country in MaxxTraxx company setup is Canada, the Canada Manufacturer List price is used for parts brought back from the Mitchell catalog.

7.91.353.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - In the Service or Express editions of MaxxTraxx, you were not given the choice when posting a Credit RO of pay by Check.. Even if you add a new payment method, it doesn't show. This was a default behavior because both Express and Service don't include check writing. However, there still needed to be a way to document that you had handwritten a check to the customer.

7.91.353.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added buttons to the RO to show the maintenance and Fluid specifications brought back from the Mitchell catalog. Added Maintenance report to print the maintenance information brought back from the Mitchell catalog. Added checkbox to the RO print dialog to print Maintenance reports with the printed RO. 7.91.353.0 | Payroll

Bug Fixed - Fixed bug in MaxxBucks that was applying the total discount to be used to parts if the maximums in setup allowed even if the part sales on the invoice were less than the amount applied. That caused it to only apply the discount to parts, when it should have used a portion for labors also.

7.91.353.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added DST TurboParts catalog online integration.

7.91.353.0 | Inventory

Bug Fixed - Miscalculation of Supply Charges on Fluids

7.8.349.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Changed the parts to order window so it shows a vendor list on the side so you can filter the list to see parts for a specific vendor. If any parts are from PartsTech, the vendor will have "(PartsTech)" next to it since only parts put on from the cart in the PartsTech catalog can be ordered through PartsTech.

7.8.349.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Parts put on an RO from an Online Catalog now show in green text so you can tell which parts are from a catalog and which ones were added from the inventory list.

7.8.349.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added PartsTech vendor number and name to the catalogs page of the vendor record. When parts for a given vendor are brought in for the first time from PartsTech, MaxxTraxx will ask the user to select the vendor record that matches the one from PartsTech, and fill the fields in the vendor record. Once the match has been made it does not ask again. If the user chooses a wrong vendor, they can use the "Clear" button beside the PartsTech fields on the vendor to reset the information and MaxxTraxx will ask them to select the vendor again the next time they bring parts back from PartsTech for that vendor.

7.8.349.0 | Accounts Payable

New Feature - Added the PartsTech catalog, which has multiple vendors within the same catalog interface allowing the user to compare part prices across catalogs and bring parts back to MaxxTraxx from multiple vendors. 7.7.342.0 | Payroll

New Feature - Added ability to refund a customer's credit card through 360 Payments and eConduit without having the card present. A/R refunds that know the original credit card information (voided RO's) will use the card information from the original transaction. Stand alone refunds (RO's with a negative amount, or A/R refunds where the RO was not originally paid with credit card) will present the user with a list of previous credit card charges for the customer and let them choose to refund to the card used on one of those payments. The list shows the invoice number, date paid, credit card name (visa, etc), last 4 digits of the credit card and expiration date so they can make their choice. Optionally, the user can also choose to swipe or enter the card number manually if they are not refunding to a card used on a previous transaction. If there are no previous credit card charges to choose from, it takes them directly to asking for the card to be swiped or manually typed in.

7.5.342.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Added stand alone signature capture for estimates, paid ROs and paid Parts Invoices. When you choose to save and print, there is an option to request a signature that appears on the window where you choose to print or email the invoice. You can choose to request a signature and optionally email the RO without sending it to a printer if the shop is running paperless. The signature prints for the RO acceptance, disclaimer and revisions. Signatures on estimates will reprint with the RO until it's paid and a new signature is obtained. For paid RO's and Parts Invoices, the signature option is only available if you have not previously obtained a signature when doing a credit card payment. Works with Payments 360 and First Mile. Will work with eConduit for any payment processor.

There is a "Multi Store Vehicle History Report" menu choice on the schedule, RO and right click menu on the vehicle list that will open the filter window with the vehicle's license populated.

7.4.342.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - In the Service Writer Profit, Service Writer Productivity and Paid Repair Order Profit by Vehicle reports that was not rounding properly when calculating cost in a sql statement. The cost would be a few cents off from what the payroll would calculate.

7.4.342.0 | Reports

Bug Fixed - That was incorrectly assigning the service writer when you created an appointment for a quote and assigned the service writer on the appointment form, then opened the invoice for that appointment on the schedule. If you had security turned on it would assign the service writer as the person opening the invoice if they were a service writer, or clear it if they were not. I security was turned off it would always clear the service writer. It not keeps the service writer that was assigned to the appointment.

7.4.342.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Window to show and select invoices that commission will be paid on now starts by showing invoices within the current pay period with an option to show invoices for the previous 90 days. Invoices in the list are now sorted in reverse date order.

7.4.342.0 | Payroll

Bug Fixed - That was incorrectly setting the WriterPayID in the InvoiceHeader table if the person receiving the check was a writer and tech, and a tech on the RO but not the writer. If the commission was not previously paid to the writer on the invoice, the program was marking them as paid to the tech. It did not pay them, just marked them as being paid. Those invoices were then excluded from the list of paid invoices for the actual service writer of the invoice.

7.4.342.0 | Payroll

Changed - For California - Sick and Vacation pay to calculate hours based on the current California rules. Sick and vacation pay now accrues up to a given limit then stops accruing until the amount drops below the limit. There are new fields on the employee record to set the maximum hours that can be accrued and the maximum hours that can be used in one year. This only applies if the "Calculate By" in the employee record is set to "Automatic hours earned per pay period". There are new fields in the payroll record to store the limits at the time of payroll, and how much was actually applied to the accrued total.

Credit card setup now has the choice of none, Merchant Partners, 360 Payments and Other Processor.. Choosing 360 Payments or Other Processor will present a list where you can add eConduit approved terminals for the shop. Adding a terminal will ask for shop contact information and terminal number, then call eConduit to pair the terminal with the information given. These terminals are then available in workstation setup so you can set a given workstation to work with any of the available terminals. This feature will allow shops to integrate with our preferred processors, Merchant Partners and 360 Payments. If the shop wants another processor to integrate with MaxxTraxx, the Credit Card processor company must call MaxxTraxx Support first.

7.3.337.0 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Updated 941 report to use 2017 IRS layout.

7.1.326.10 | Payroll

Bug Fixed - I just worked out how to duplicate a bug that crashes the program and forces you to close it via the Task Manager. Example - User is on the Parts Counter and opens a parts ticket that has multiple parts, When he opens one and gets into the sales detail screen he can still see the other part numbers in the parts invoice and if he clicks on another part number WITHOUT closing the open sales detail screen. This now opens up a repair order on the Service Counter. Now they're locked up. Same thing happens in an RO is you do the same scenario it opens the invoice on the Parts Counter. Note** There was a workaround that you can close the RO click ESC and it'll put you back to the parts counter and vice versa on the Service Counter.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - When user copies a part number from a spread sheet and pastes it into MaxxTraxx, it brings up two parts record windows? Observation - Run a report (I used the reorder parts report) export to excel). Copy a part number. Paste into a Parts Search. It opens the parts record without clicking edit and when you click OK it opens another record.

7.1.326.10 | Inventory

Changed - Changed results for the CARFAX History Service to allocate memory dynamically so that in the future, vehicles with many pages of history will not over run the amount MaxxTraxx can handle.

7.1.326.10 | Reports

Bug Fixed - Function to check for invalid characters being returned from CARFAX for a service history report. If invalid data is detected, a message window is shown and the report is not shown. This should also prevent the lockup happening when invalid data is returned.

7.1.326.10 | Reports

Bug Fixed - Carfax Service History report that was using the development website to get the data instead of the live web site.

7.1.326.10 | Reports

Bug Fixed - Service Writer Productivity report where the report subtotals would ignore the second labor or part if it shared the exact same column values as another tied to the same RO. Very rare possibility, but it happened.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - When previewing an RO and you choose "Save as a PDF" and you take the check mark out of "open in PDF Reader" When you click OK. It opens the PDF reader anyway.

Bug Fixed - Bug that was doubling the user charge for parts with a core added from a kit to an RO if you chose to use actual prices.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - Bug that was showing the update available window every 24 hours even if MaxxTraxx was updated to the latest version available.

7.1.326.10 | Updates

Bug Fixed - MaxxTraxx was only showing the first character of who was contacted in the revisions list on the RO form.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - Customer states when a tech clocks out of a job, it drops the flag hours on it''s own. Confirmed Bug - Even if you have Maxx setups set to allow Flag time to go higher than Flat Rate time it won't allow it if you change the Status to "Completed" All the other statuses don't seem to care but "Completed" will change the Flagged time to whatever was in Flat Rate time for the RO. So if a RO calls for 2.5 hours of Flat Rate Time and the Tech works on it for 4 hours and flags 4 hours. When he sets the Status to "Completed" the Flag field gets changed back to 2.5 hours.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - When adding a second place holder you get a bogus warning that it is already on the repair order.

7.1.326.10 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

7.1.326.9 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

New Feature - Window to show that a full update is available. Workstations instruct users to go to the server and install the update. The window that shows on the server has a button to "Install Update Now". The window shows when MaxxTraxx starts and every 24 hours afterward until they update.

7.1.326.9 | Updates

Changed - The patch update now logs if there was an error in the mxtrxpro.ini during the nightly patch update so that MaxxTraxx can tell if there was an error and notify the user to install the patch from the server. If they are on the server, an "Install Patch" button is made available so they can install the patch from the error window. MaxxTraxx checks for patch errors on startup, and every 60 minutes thereafter. If they are notified of a patch error and choose not to install the patch and keep MaxxTraxx running over night, the program will notify them every 24 hours from that point on. Once they successfully install the patch, the notification is turned off.

7.1.326.9 | Updates

New Feature - Ability to paste text into the part list search. Place focus on the part list and press Ctrl+V to paste the text to the search filed and trigger the incremental search. The copy/paste works with all of the part list search options (part number, description, size, etc.). This was a highly requested feature from our Voting Board.

7.1.326.9 | Inventory

Bug Fixed - Add a part from on line ordering to RO that includes a core charge. Save RO and accept the PO. save the PO, and when part arrives, go to Restock and start a new Restock invoice, and click on Add Line Item and choose Choose from any Open Parts Orders, find the item on your PO and Select it for the Restock Invoice. It brings the line item in with 1 rec'd , correct cost, correct core cost, and the Extension is only the cost of the part, and same in the subtotal. Creates an out of balance transaction. Amount going to AP is short by the amount of the core.

7.1.326.9 | Accounts Payable

Bug Fixed - The battery tax add on charges was doubling. Found that it's when he adds a kit to the RO and the kit has a core it doubles up the add on charge. While verifying this we found another bug in this scenario If when adding the kit, when the kit comes up and you check the saved or actual box for the battery but not the core charge if you try to delete the part to go back and add the core you get the error: "error getting the attached core for PAS:PasID = 2853 Record not available . 7.1.326.8 | Accounts Payable

Bug Fixed - When adding a labor service to an RO and the Hourly Shop Rate is lower than the Adjusted/Discounted Shop Rate, it will charge the hours billed to customer times the Hourly Shop Rate to the customer in the summary but show in the Repair Order View, the Labor View & the Labor Service - Sales Detail Information screens at the Adjusted/Discounted Shop Rate. Big issue when it's a big ticket and they don't notice in the total labor when printing the RO the totals is short by that labor rate / adjusted labor rate discrepancy. It will also show in the Labor Sales & Best Sellers reports the adjusted rate X hours billed to customer show and the Service Counter report will show the Hourly Shop Rate X hours billed to customer.

Changed - Changed the order of results on the Customer History report to order by newest to oldest Date Paid rather than RO Number.

7.1.326.7 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Paid Repair Orders and Parts Invoices with Averages Report. (1) The Excel export had two columns for Date (labeled Date and Date Paid) despite the report only having one. Both were printing the same Date Paid value (Paid Repair Orders and Parts Invoices with Averages). (2) Removed the second date column to Excel export and renamed the first to "Date Paid" to alleviate customer confusion (Paid Repair Orders and Parts Invoices with Averages). * (3) Added an Original RO Date column in the Excel Export only to the Paid Repair Orders and Parts Invoices with Averages report. (customer request) * (4) Fixed bug that would not close the appointment window when pressing the "Finish" button if you added an appointment from the customer record. Every time you pressed the Finish button it would add a new appointment, but would not close the add appointment form

7.1.326.6 | Reports

Changed - When using saved prices while adding a kit to an RO the matrix is turned off if any parts on the kit use it so the part gets updated cost information but the price will stay as it was when the part was added to the kit.

7.1.326.5 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Changed - Using saved prices when adding a part to an RO from a recommendation or sub estimate now sets the base cost to what is in inventory and turns off the matrix so cost is updated correctly but the price is not recalculated if the base cost or the matrix has changed since it was added to the recommendation or sub estimate.

7.1.326.5 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - Bug: When converting a previously saved Recommendation with parts and labors and applying it to a new Repair Order, MaxxTraxx was using the cost of the parts that were valid at the time when the Recommendation was originally created. This was incorrect logic because it needed to use the current cost of the parts, as they may have changed in the system since the Recommendation was previously saved. Using the old costs had a potential to cause the Inventory valuation to be inaccurate and the profitability of the Repair Order to be off. This would have been minimal unless the costs of the parts had changed radically since the Recommendation had been created.

7.1.326.5 | Customers, Vehicles, and Invoices

Bug Fixed - Problem - When you purchase a part from a vendor for say $100 for part and $15. for a core it shows up as $115 purchased from vendor on the Parts purchased by vendor report . You sell the part, return the core there is no change in the parts purchased by vendor report. It still says you purchased $115 from the vendor. It should say $100 purchased from the vendor.

Solution - After last patch, if you have a charge/credit that is the same in paybills and you want to clear the invoices, you tag them and when you click finish it wants you to select a payment method won't let you pay it or click finish to clear it.
