Emailing Repair Orders

Q. My ROs view and print fine. But when I email a copy to my customers, the formatting is wrong. The various data fields overlap as if the font is too large. Is there some setting that controls this?

Answer:

The font size in the PDFs is controlled by the Windows display properties. In XP, open your Control Panel, and click on Display. Choose Appearance and check the Font Size box in the lower left. It should be set to “Normal”.

If you are running Vista, again, from the Control Panel, choose Personalization. Under Tasks, open Adjust font size (DPI) and set to “Default scale (96 DPI)”.

And if you have Windows 7, from the Control Panel, open Display, and set to “Smaller – 100% (default)”.
