The Vehicle I'm Working On Is Not in Your List

Q. I'm working on a vehicle that doesn't exist in your available list of vehicles (motorhomes, large trucks, etc.)

Answer:

When you choose to Add Vehicle, and searching by Year, Make, Model, you will see in the upper right area of the first screen "use Custom Vehicle." Click to add a check mark to that box and you will be able to enter the year, and create the Make and Model. Those that you add will remain in the list of Custom vehicles for future use.

Vehicle Mileage Error

Q. I closed a repair order without entering the mileage, can I fix that?

Answer:

The ticket would need to be reopened in order to make any changes. To do this, Click on the Money Bag above (cash drawer) then click the bottom left button (current cash drawer transactions). Find the payment and void it. This will put the RO back on the schedule. Last step is the change the status on the RO from Complete to anything else to be able to edit the RO. Remember that when you re-close and pay the RO, change the Paid Date back to the original Paid Date. Very Important!

Vehicle Not in the Look Up Table

Q. How do I add a custom make to the vehicle list?

Answer:

When adding a new vehicle, you will see a check box on the right above the Year to Use Custom Vehicle. Check that box and it will allow you to add to the list from there. If you are using Carfax vehicle look up function, you will need to select the Year, Make "Search by" option on the left rather than the License option.
